The Third Judicial Circuit covers seven counties: Columbia, Dixie, Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee and Taylor. The office of the State Attorney has four offices. Columbia County, the circuits largest county, is served by the Lake City office. The main office is in Live Oak which houses the special prosecution unit, the administrative offices and the office of the State Attorney. The Live Oak Office also serves Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison and Suwannee counties. Finally, the Third Judicial Circuit has offices in Cross City and Perry serving Dixie and Taylor counties respectively.
