State Attorney John Durrett announces that on April 13, 2021, Michael Pope was sworn in by Madison County Judge Bailey Browning as the newest Assistant State Attorney in the 3rd Judicial Circuit. Michael was a certified legal intern in the Office of the State Attorney and was sworn in after receiving notice that he passed the Spring 2021 Florida Bar exam.
Mr. Pope is a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. He is also a graduate of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Michael is currently working in the misdemeanor division in Madison County. We are proud to have him on our team!
